IIM Trichy Admission

IIM Trichy follows an entrance-based admission process for its various programs. Admission to the PGPM/MBA courses is granted based on the results of the Common Admission Test (CAT), followed by a personal interview. For the Ph.D. programs, candidates with valid scores from CAT, GMAT, GRE, IIMB Test, or UGC-JRF are eligible to apply and will be shortlisted for an interview.

IIM Trichy PGPM / PGPM-HR Admission

IIM Trichy offers a full-time MBA, also known as the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), which is structured across six trimesters. Admission to this program is through the CAT exam, followed by an interview round for shortlisted candidates. The final selection is based on a composite scorecard that considers three key parameters: the CAT score, performance in the PI round, and an evaluation of the candidate's profile.

IIM Trichy PGPBM Admission

Candidates who have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks and a minimum of 3 years of work experience are eligible to apply for the PGPBM program at IIM Trichy.

IIM Trichy DPM Admission

To be eligible for the IIM Trichy Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM), candidates must meet specific educational and exam requirements. Applicants should have a Master’s degree, a Postgraduate diploma, an Integrated Master’s degree, or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% aggregate marks. Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and a professional qualification (such as CA, ICWA, or CS) with a minimum of 50% marks are also eligible. In addition, candidates must have taken one of the qualifying exams—CAT, GMAT, GRE, UGC-JRF, or IIMB exams—within the last two years. However, candidates who have completed a PGDM from any of the IIMs or the PGPBM from IIM Trichy are exempt from this requirement.

IIM Trichy EDPM Admission

The candidates who have exposure to management education through graduation or postgraduate and have passed them with First class, have a minimum of 10 years of work experience, and are currently working as a full-time executive are eligible to apply for the EDPM program at IIM Trichy.

Application Process for IIM Trichy

1. Register on the IIM Trichy website for the desired program (PGPM, PGPM-HR, or DPM).
2. Fill in the application form with personal, academic, and professional details.
3. Upload the necessary documents as specified by the institute.
4. Pay the applicable application fee.
5. For PGPM and PGPM-HR programs, candidates are shortlisted based on their CAT score and invited for the Personal Interview (PI) round.
6. For the DPM program, candidates must have valid scores from CAT, GMAT, GRE, or UGC-JRF and will be invited for the PI round.
7. Final admission decisions are based on CAT score, PI performance, academic background, work experience, and diversity.
