IIT Dhanbad offers Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) across four different fields of study. Admission to the IIT Dhanbad Ph.D. (JRF) program is through a nationwide exam and interview process. The institute also allows direct entry into their Ph.D. programs for students who have completed their M.Sc. Tech. or M.Sc. degrees from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.
