Founded in 1984, the Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHM) is situated in Guwahati, which serves as the capital of Assam.  IHM Guwahati provides various programs: undergraduate, postgraduate and certificate courses in the realm of hotel management.  Admission to the undergraduate programs is determined by the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination, NCHMCT JEE.  This particular undergraduate course is offered through the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU); however, the other postgraduate and certificate programs are administered directly by the institute itself.

Application Process for Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition

1. Candidates need to register for an online application form and note down the system generated application number.
2. Candidates need to fill the required details, create a password and choose a security question.
3. An application number will be generated.
4. Go to the official website of NCHMCT JEE.
5. Click on ‘Fill application form’
6. Log in using your application number password and security pin
7. Fill out the form
8. Upload scanned images of photograph and signature
9. Pay the application fee of 900 INR online (for general candidates)
10. Choose an examination center
11. Print the confirmation page.
