About Nitte University Admission

Nitte University, situated in Mangalore, Karnataka, was established in 2008 and is recognized as a deemed-to-be university by the UGC in New Delhi.

The university offers a variety of undergraduate programs including B.Sc, MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Pharm, B.Tech, B.Arch, BJMC, and Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing. At the postgraduate level, students can pursue MD, MS, MPH, MCh, M.Pharm, MPT, MSc, and MJMC courses.

Additionally, the university provides courses such as GNM, Post Basic Diploma in Nursing, Pharm.D, and D.Pharm. For doctoral studies, candidates can opt for a Ph.D. with six specializations.

Nitte University MBBS and BDS Admission 2024

Nitte University in Mangalore provides a 5 ½ year MBBS program, admitting 150 students, and a 5-year BDS course, with a mandatory one-year internship and a capacity of 100 students.

Candidates who have achieved a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English in their 10+2 examinations are eligible for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses.

Nitte University UG Admission 2024: B.Sc, B.Pharm, BPT, B.Arch, B.Tech & BJMC

At Nitte University, various undergraduate courses are offered including B.Sc in Nursing, B.Pharm, BPT, B.Sc in Biomedical Science, B.Tech, B.Arch, and BJMC.

For B.Sc in Nursing, candidates should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in PCB with English. For B.Sc in MIT, MLT, A & OTT, BPT, and BSc (Hons) courses, applicants need a minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English combined in 10+2.

Those aspiring to join B.Pharm should have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics, Biotechnology, and English.Applicants seeking admission to B.Arch should have completed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

For BJMC, candidates should have completed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 40% marks.

Nitte University MD, MS and MDS Admission 2024

Nitte University offers 3-year MD and MS programs across various specializations with a total intake of 98 students, along with a 3-year MDS course accommodating 49 students.

Eligibility for the MD/MS programs requires completion of the MBBS course with permanent registration from any State Medical Council. Similarly, candidates with a BDS Degree and registration from the State Medical Council are eligible for the MDS course.

Admission to MD and MS programs is based on NEET PG rank, facilitated through centralized counseling by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). For MDS admissions, a valid score in NEET MDS is the basis for selection.

Nitte University PG Admission 2024: M.Ch, MPH, MDS, M.Sc, MPT & MJMC

Nitte University offers a range of PG-level courses including M.Ch, MPH, MDS, M.Sc, M.Pharm, MPT, M.Sc, and MJMC.

Candidates who have completed MS in General Surgery are eligible for admission to the M.Ch program. For MPH, a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Paramedical Science, Biomedical Science, Environmental Engineering, or Management with a minimum of 50% marks is required.

The M.Sc in Nursing program requires a B.Sc or Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing with at least 55% marks. For MPT, candidates with a BPT Degree and a minimum of 45% marks are eligible. Those who have completed a B.Pharm course with a minimum of 55% marks can apply for the M.Pharm program.
