Ramdeobaba University (RCOEM), established in 1984, is a top private engineering college in India. With a faculty of 134 Ph.D. holders, it has achieved high rankings. RCOEM offers various programs, including B.E, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. Admissions are guided by the State CET Cell and RTMNU. RBU B.E Admissions

Applications for B.E admissions are accepted through State CET Cell, while admissions are offered through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) based on the guidelines set by the Competent Authority of Maharashtra Government.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for B.E admissions an aspiring candidate should be an Indian Citizen and must fulfill the following given criteria:

• Passed HSSC or it’s equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology.
• The applicant must have obtained at least 50% aggregate (45% for backward classes/persons with disability for those belonging to Maharashtra only). OR
• Passed a Diploma course in Engineering & Technology with 50% aggregate (45% for backward classes/persons with disability for those belonging to Maharashtra only).OR
• Passed B.Sc. from a recognized University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% aggregate (45% for backward classes/persons with disability for those belonging to Maharashtra only).

RBU M.Tech Admissions

Admissions to the M.Tech program are offered through the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. To know about the prerequisites for admissions, the details have been given below:

‍Eligibility Criteria

The students applying for M.Tech admissions are eligible only if:

• They are Indian nationals.
• Must have a degree in Engineering and Technology from AICTE/Central/State Government approved institutions with 50% aggregate (45% for backward classes/persons with disability belonging to Indian state). 
• Qualified GATE. OR
• For sponsored students, a minimum of 2 years of full-time employment experience is mandatory to be proved.

RBU MBA Admissions

Students who wish to apply for admission to the MBA program must qualify MAH-MHT-CET entrance along with other criteria of eligibility, which has been elaborated upon in the following section:

The students are considered eligible for admissions only if:

• They are Indian nationals.
• Have a bachelor’s degree with 50% in any discipline (relaxation of 5% for backward classes and persons with disability) from a UGC or AIU recognized University.

RBU MCA ADMISSIONS

Eligibility Criteria

The students are considered eligible for admissions only if:

• They are Indian nationals.
• Have a bachelor’s degree with 50% in any discipline (relaxation of 5% for backward classes and persons with disability), from a UGC or AIU recognized University.
• Candidate should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or graduate level examination.
• Also, the students must qualify MAH-MCA-CET.

RBU Ph.D. Admissions

Admissions to the Ph.D. program are offered based upon the guidelines set by RTMNU. The following prerequisites must be taken care of before applying:

Eligibility Criteria

Students, in order to be eligible for admissions, must have:

• A master’s degree in a relevant discipline with 50% aggregate, from a recognized university.
• Qualified either of the entrances- MU-PET/GATE/SET/UGC-NET/JRF.

Application Process for Ramdeobaba University

The students, willing to apply for B.E/M.Tech/MBA/MCA can apply through CAP. The centralized admission process are as follows:

1. Notification by State CET Cell and publication of Information brochure.
2. Registration by candidates online on the CET Cell website.
3. Document verification and confirmation at facilitation Centre (FC)
4. Declaration of Merit List by State CET Cell
5. An option form to be filled by the candidate (For CAP round I)
6. Admission and seat allotment to candidate
7. Freeze/Float/slide to be chosen by the candidate
8. Reporting to the admission reporting center (ARC) for “Freeze” candidates or Option form filling for float/slide candidates for Next CAP Round
9. Reporting to the allotted institute with the required admission fees and official documents.

Note: CAP Quota: 29% of the sanctioned intake and; Minority Quota: 51% of the sanctioned intake is filled through CAP. The institute level admission quota is 20% of the sanctioned intake, admitted through the Institute level Admission Process.

1. Xerox copy of receipt cum acknowledgment (CAP) from the facilitation center.
2. Xerox copy of the CET Merit number-letter (CAP).
3. S.S.C./X class mark sheet.
4. H.S.S.C./XII class mark sheet.
5. College leaving certificate
6. Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate.
7. Migration Certificate (if appeared for graduation from other than RTMNU)
8. Statement of marks for the Bachelor’s Degree Examination 
9. PAN Card/Aadhar Card/Bank Passbook (Linked to aadhar) front page.
10. CET mark sheet/scorecard
11. Eligibility certificate of RTMNU in case the candidate has graduated from another university than RTMNU. It can be submitted after admission as well.
