The Career Development Centre (CDC) of RMK Engineering College is a dedicated department that provides various services to enhance the employability and placement opportunities of the students. As per 2023 placement statistics of till date, 162 companies have visited college and 546 students are placed. The placements are still in process for the 2022-23. The RMK Engineering College placement cell interacts with reputed organisations to arrange campus interviews, in-plant training, industrial visits, and career guidance programmes. The CDC also conducts regular training programs on technical and soft skills and counsels the students for their higher studies and projects. The RMKEC Thiruvallur placement cell conducts recruitments with leading companies such as TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Virtusa, LTI Mindtree, and ATOS.
