SMIT's campus is located in Majitar, East Sikkim, near the border between West Bengal and Sikkim. The campus covers 35 acres and sits along the Teesta River in a picturesque valley surrounded by lush, resource-rich hills.

1. Library: The institute has excellent library facilities serving the diverse needs of the students. Online journals and online access to libraries of various institutes are some of the resources available by the users.

General Facilities: The shopping center of the campus consists of the following facilities: Union Bank of India, ATM of Axis Bank & Union Bank of India, Post Office, Stationery Shop, Binding, Lamination, Xerox Shop, Beauty Parlor, Barber Shop, Pharmacy, etc. In addition, stationery shops, general stores, and SBI ATMs are located within the academic premises.
3. Food Court & Indoor Sports Complex: The institute has an ultra-modern indoor sports complex and a sprawling Food Court.
