Travancore Medical College, established in 2008 in Kollam, Kerala, is a self-financing institution affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences. It offers undergraduate MBBS and various postgraduate programs including MD and MS in Anesthesiology, General Medicine, and Obstetrics & Gynecology. For nursing students, the college provides GNM and B.Sc. Nursing programs. Admissions for MBBS are based on the NEET UG examination, while MD and MS admissions rely on NEET-PG scores. GNM admissions are determined through an interview, and B.Sc. Nursing candidates are selected via an entrance test conducted by CEE Kerala. The college follows Kerala CEE norms for reservations and requires specific documentation for minority and foreign candidates. Application Process for Travancore Medical College

1. Candidates may visit the CEE, Kerala official website and submit their applications online.
2. The applicant must also upload a soft copy (scanned) of his/ her passport size photograph, signature, and left hand thumb impression, all in .jpg format, 20-100KB in size, before filling the online application form.
3. The online application form must be completed with genuine and accurate details in reference to marks obtained in the previous qualifying exams, contact information, personal data etc.
4. Candidates are required to pay the application fee online using credit/ debit card, internet banking, or e-challans. No other mode of payment is recognized by CEE, Kerala.
5. The candidate must remember to clearly specify/ select his/ her desired course while filling the application form online.
6. Applications without a choice of course would be considered as incomplete, and hence rejected.
7. The applicant must take a printout of the complete application form after submitting the information online. The same will be required for future correspondence.
8. A copy of the application form printout must be sent along with self-attested photocopies of relevant documents to CEE so as to reach the respective office on or before the last date.
9. A recent passport size photograph of the applicant (identical to the one uploaded) must be pasted in the application form and must be attested by the Head of the Institution last attended, or by a Gazetted Officer of the Govt.
10. A unique application/ key number and password will be provided to the candidate which must be maintained with confidentiality and in safe custody till the end of the allotment process.
11. Candidates should send only one application for admission to any or all of the courses in KEAM.
12. Candidates except SC/ ST/ OEC category should submit income certificate also along with the printout of the complete application form for availing income based fee concession/ scholarship.
13. Online Option Confirmation is mandatory for participating in each phase of allotment.
14. Candidates applying for Management Quota/ NRI seats can download the application form and annexures from the official website of institute.
15. Alternatively, the application form and prospectus can be collected from the institute campus in person by paying the prescribed application fee.
16. The completed application form must be submitted in person or by post so as to reach before the last date.
17. In case candidate has downloaded application fees, a demand draft of the prescribed application fee must be sent/ submitted along with the online application form and all other relevant enclosures.
18. For MD & MS courses, application fees is INR 3750 (INR 2750 for SC/ST/OBC).
19. The application fee for B.Sc. Nursing for General/ Service candidates is INR 600 and INR 300 for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.

2. Proof of date of birth
3. Plus Two or equivalent Certificate
4. Mark list at the qualifying Examination ( Plus Two or equivalent)
5. Marks sheet/ degree certificate of MBBS, as applicable
6. Transfer Certificate (T.C) from the institution last attended
7. Marks Sheet and Admit card of the National Eligibility cum Entrance (NEET)
8. Data sheet and Allocation Memo issued by the CEE
9. Certificate of good conduct from the institution last attended, preferably issued within six months
10. Document/certificate from the authority to establish the eligibility for Muslim Reservation
11. Community and Non-creamy layer/ income Certificate from Tehsildar/ Village Officer in case the candidate requires relaxation in marks as per rules in force
12. Medical Fitness Certificate
13. Vaccination Certificate against Hepatitis / MMS / Chickenpox
14. Equivalency /eligibility certificate of the qualifying examination obtained from Kerala University of Health Sciences by candidates other than those who passed qualifying examination of Kerala Higher Secondary Board, CBSE or ICSE
15. Migration certificate by candidates passed qualifying examination other than Kerala Higher Secondary Board
16. Bank Guarantee from a Nationalized Bank agreeing to pay the amount of the tuition fee to be paid for the second, third, fourth and fifth year of the course
17. Bonds in Stamp papers worth INR 200 as mentioned in Annexure-I & III (refer to prospectus)
18. Refundable Security Deposit for an amount equivalent to one-year tuition fee
19. Two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the documents/certificates listed above and Ten Passport size photographs of the candidate (one of them shall be laminated on the facing side)

Travancore Medical College MBBS Admission 2024

Travancore Medical College offers an MBBS degree program with the basic eligibility requirement of a pass in 10+2 or an equivalent exam, with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined. Admission to government quota seats is conducted through KEAM counselling based on NEET-UG scores. Candidates must apply online through the Kerala Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE) website, and also submit a hard copy of the application form along with relevant documents to the CEE office before the deadline. While government quota candidates must attend KEAM counselling, management quota and NRI candidates can apply directly through the institute’s admission process.

Travancore Medical College PG Admission 2024

Travancore Medical College offers postgraduate medical degree programs in Anesthesiology, General Medicine, and Obstetrics & Gynecology. For Anesthesiology and General Medicine, candidates are awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, while Obstetrics & Gynecology candidates receive a Master of Surgery (MS) degree. The basic eligibility for admission to these programs is an MBBS degree from an MCI-approved institute or university, with a minimum of 50 percentile marks in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (PG). Selection is based on counselling conducted by CEE, Kerala for PG medical course admissions.

Travancore Medical College Nursing Admission 2024

Travancore Medical College offers nursing programs for students with a science background, including a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program and a B.Sc. Nursing degree. To be eligible for the GNM program, candidates must have a minimum of 40% marks in their 10+2 or equivalent examination. For the B.Sc. Nursing program, candidates need at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined at the 10+2 level, with English as a compulsory subject. Admission to the GNM program is based on merit and an interview, while B.Sc. Nursing admissions are determined through counselling or an entrance test conducted by CEE, Kerala or the institute. Applications for the B.Sc. Nursing program are accepted only online, while GNM applications are processed directly through the institute, where forms can be obtained in person and fees paid in cash.
