About (SSP) State Scholarship Meaning

Launched by the Karnataka Government, the SSP portal works to distribute varied scholarships among students in need and who are eligible effectively. Primarily, the SSP scholarship includes two segments: a Pre-matric scholarship (for the class below 10th) and a Post-matric scholarship (for the class above 10th). The SSP Scholarship offers monetary aid to backward-class students, including SC, ST, and OBC categories that contribute to their education.

SSP Scholarship Eligibility criteria

SSP Pre Matric Scholarship and Post Matric Scholarship

Steps to apply:

Step 1 Account Creation

  1. Go to ssp.karnataka.gov.in, the official website for the SSP scholarship.
  2. Select the "Post-Matric Scholarship for FY 2024" link mentioned on the site.
  3. Next, select "Create Account.
  4. Click "Proceed" after completing the required fields and checking the consent box.

Step 2 Verification

After filling out the details, the relevant authorities make sure that the documents submitted by the applicants are correct. Document verification is an essential process.

  1. The applicants' bank accounts, as well as Aadhar, will be connected once the entire process is complete. Following that, enter your mobile number, mailing address, and OTP and press the "Submit" button.
  2. The next step is to write the details of the certificate, then select "Proceed.
  3. The applicants will be required to confirm the spelling of their name on the certificates after selecting the "Proceed" option. The candidates will be sent to the next page if the name is correct.
  4. Please choose "yes" and provide the number from the ration card if the applicants have one. Or else they have to apply for a ration card in order to proceed with the process if they don't already have one.
  5. There will be a list of family members visible after inputting the ration card number. Select the candidate's name from the list and click the "Check" button to continue.
  6. After that, create a password and press the "Submit" button.

Step 3 Student Login

  1. Check out the SSP scholarship official webpage at ssp.karnataka.gov.in.
  2. Select "Student Login" from the dashboard.
  3. To access the account, provide your password, username, and captcha.
  4. Continue filling out the application form with all the required information to complete the scholarship application after logging in.
