Application Procedure for the Punjab Scholarship

Scholarship Category Eligibility
For SC Students post Matric Scholarship Punjab SC Students enrolled in post-matriculation programs, such as class 11 to postdoctoral programs, can apply for this award. A family's annual income must not exceed INR 2.50 lakh.
Pre-Matric Program for SC Scholarship Punjab Students SC Students in class 9th and 10th eligible for the scholarship. Their family's annual income must be less than INR 2 lakh. Students who already receive another scholarship financed by the central government are not eligible to apply for this one.
Post-Matric Scholarship Punjab to OBC Students OBC Students pursuing post-matriculation courses (class 11 to postdoctoral) at accredited schools or institutions are eligible for the funding. The family income requirement is INR 1 Lakh annually, which implies that the family's annual income cannot surpass INR 1 Lakh.
Punjab's Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students OBC Students in grades 1 through 10 can apply for this Punjab scholarship. The family's annual income must be at most INR 44,500.

They should have received at least 50% of the possible points in the prior qualifying exam. The annual income of the family shouldn't be more than INR 2.50 Lakh.
Scholarship for Primary School Girls from BC/EBC Families, Punjab BC/EBC This award is open to female students enrolled in primary school. A minimum of 75% of lessons must be attended. No parent or guardian shall own more than five acres of land. The annual income of a family shouldn't be more than INR one lakh.

  1. Hostels receive a monthly maintenance payment of INR 600 (class 6 to 10).
  2. The monthly maintenance allowance for day scholars (classes 1 through 10) is INR 100.
  3. For classes 6 through 10, there is an annual admission cost of INR 500.
  4. A monthly tuition charge of INR 350, or accurately, is required for classes 6 through 10.

Scholarships for Minorities post-matric

  1. Admission and up to 10,000 INR in annual tuition or course fees
  2. Maintenance allowances of up to INR 1200 per month for hostellers and INR 550 per month for day students are offered for a ten-month period.

Minority Merit-cum-Means Scholarship

  1. Hostellers will receive a maintenance stipend of INR 1000 per month for ten months, while day scholars will receive INR 500 per month.
