About Arivu Education Loan Scheme

The Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation (KMDC) is behind the Arivu Education Loan Scheme. Under this program, Karnataka students can receive a minimal interest rate of 2% annually on an education loan up to INR 3 lakh for technical education courses.

Students from Karnataka's religious minority populations, such as Muslims, Jains, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, and Parsis, are eligible to apply for this program. The only candidates for this education loan program are those who have been accepted into MBBS, BDS, Ayush, Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, or Bachelor of Science programs through the Karnataka Examination Authority (CET/NEET) for Government/Private Colleges under the Government Quota.

Students from Karnataka's religious minority populations, including Muslims, Jews, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, and Parsis, are eligible to apply for this program.

The loan facility is only available to students selected for courses like M.B.B.S., B.D.S., Ayush, B.Arch., B.E., and B.Tech by the Karnataka Examination Authority (via CET/NEET).

Through the Direct Benefit Transfer (D.B.T.) method, the student's allotted loan amount is transferred straight from the K.M.D.C. to the bank account of their chosen college.
