Free COMEDK Rank Predictor 2025 helps you estimate your rank and chances of admission in top engineering and architecture colleges in Karnataka based on your COMEDK UGET score. Enter your score, category, and course to see expected colleges before the official results. The tool uses the past 5 years' cutoffs and college data to give accurate predictions. COMEDK 2025 results were declared on June 7, but this tool can give you an early idea now.

By the end of this blog, you will know

  • How does the COMEDK Rank Predictor 2025 estimate your probable rank based on exam performance?
  • The key factors that influence your COMEDK rank and the tie-breaking rules.
  • How to effectively interpret expected marks versus ranks to plan your college admission strategy?

What is the COMEDK Rank Predictor 2025?

The COMEDK engineering rank predictor tool allows students to estimate their likely rank based on their exam performance before the official results are announced. This estimated rank provides valuable insight into admission possibilities at various engineering colleges under COMEDK.

However, it's important to note that only those who meet the qualifying marks for COMEDK 2025 will be able to participate in the counselling and admission process.

Features of COMEDK Rank Predictor 2025

Before you explore the tool, here are some key benefits it offers:

  • Students can get an early idea of their possible rank, helping them plan their next steps.
  • It enables candidates to check which colleges they might qualify for based on their rank estimate.
  • The tool helps determine whether a candidate will likely qualify for the COMEDK counselling rounds.
  • It allows students to compare their estimated rank with past college cutoffs to set realistic admission goals.

How is the COMEDK Rank Calculated?

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka determines your rank based on your COMEDK UGET 2025 exam performance. The candidate who scores the highest marks—180 out of 180—will be assigned the top rank, i.e., All India Rank (AIR) 1.

Ranks for other candidates are assigned according to their total marks scored in the exam. Each correct answer awards one mark, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

COMEDK Tie-Breaking Rule

In cases where two or more candidates have the same score, the following tie-breaker rules will be applied in sequence to decide the rank order:

  1. Preference is given to the candidate with fewer incorrect answers across Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
  2. If there is still a tie, the candidate with the higher combined marks in Physics and Mathematics will be ranked higher.
  3. If still unresolved, the candidate with the higher score in the Mathematics section will get preference.
  4. Finally, the older candidate will be assigned a better rank if all other criteria are identical.

  • Reservation Policies:

Categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and others have specific relaxation in cutoff marks.

  • Available Seats:

The total seats offered by participating colleges influences which students get admission.

  • Score Normalisation:

To maintain fairness, scores may be adjusted if there are variations in exam difficulty across sessions.

  • Tie-Breaking Criteria:

When two or more candidates have the same marks, additional rules are applied to assign ranks.
