TSICET Result 2025 Guidelines

These are the important points every candidate should keep in mind regarding the TSICET result declaration process and eligibility:

  • TSICET results will only be available online; no physical copies will be shared via post or email.
  • Mahatma Gandhi University, on behalf of TSCHE, is responsible for publishing the results.
  • Rank computation follows a normalisation process, as managed by Kakatiya University.
  • General category candidates must score at least 25% (i.e., 50 out of 200 marks) to qualify for TSICET counselling.
  • Reserved category candidates (SC/ST) are not subject to any minimum qualifying marks.
  • If a reserved category candidate scores zero, ranks are allotted based on age, with preference given to the older candidate.
  • Qualifying in TSICET does not guarantee admission; final seat allotment depends on college-wise cut-offs and counselling rounds.

How are TSICET 2025 Scores and Ranks calculated?

TSICET results include your raw score, normalised marks, and final rank. These are calculated using your response sheet and a well-defined marking and normalisation process approved by TSCHE.

Raw Score Calculation in TSICET 2025

Your raw score is based purely on the number of correct answers you attempted. The official marking scheme is as follows:

  • +1 mark for every correct answer
  • No negative marking for wrong or unattempted questions

Formula:
TSICET Raw Score = Total Number of Correct Answers

Candidates can use the TSICET response sheet and answer key to estimate their score before the results are announced.

How TSICET 2025 Normalisation Works?

Since TSICET is conducted in multiple shifts, TSCHE uses a normalisation process to ensure fairness across varying levels of exam difficulty. This process adjusts raw scores based on the average performance of candidates in each shift.

  • If a shift was easier, normalised scores might be slightly lower.
  • If a shift was tougher, candidates might receive a higher normalised score.
  • The goal is to keep all candidates on a level playing field, regardless of session timing.

TSCHE uses a defined statistical formula to carry out this normalisation, ensuring consistent evaluation standards across sessions.

How are TSICET 2025 Ranks assigned?

After normalising scores, TSCHE assigns a rank to each qualified candidate. Participating colleges then use these ranks during MBA/MCA admissions and counselling rounds.

  • Colleges will release cut-off ranks after results are declared.
  • Candidates who meet or rank above the cut-off will be eligible for admission.

What Happens in the Case of a Tie?

When two or more candidates score the same marks, TSCHE applies the following tie-breaking rules:

  1. Higher marks in Section A (Analytical Ability) will be given preference
  2. If scores in Section A are equal, marks in Section B (Mathematical Ability) will be considered.
  3. If the tie remains, the older candidate (by age) will be ranked higher.

Note: Candidates from reserved categories who score zero marks are still allotted a rank based on age. The older candidate is ranked higher.

No upper age limit exists, but rank prioritises higher marks and, if tied, older candidates. Reserved candidates with zero marks also get ranked by age.

What's the procedure if I forget my password on the counselling portal?

Click "Forgot Password" on the portal. You'll receive a reset link or OTP on your registered email or mobile to regenerate credentials.

When will TSICET conduct phase‑2 or spot counselling if I miss the first round?

TSCHE may schedule a second phase or spot round in November 2025 once the initial and mop-up rounds conclude. Dates will be announced at icet.tsche.ac.in.
