About DMS IIT Delhi Admission

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi primarily admits students to its MBA program based on their performance in the Common Admission Test (CAT) exam. Along with CAT scores, the department also considers applicants' past academic records and their performance in the personal interview (PI) round. Additionally, the department offers an Executive MBA (EMBA) program and a PhD in Management.

DMS IIT Delhi Cut off - For Last Three Years

The DMS IIT De­lhi MBA program has a minimum cutoff of 90th percentile ove­rall. However, the actual cutoff for stude­nts who get admitted is typically much higher than this minimum re­quirement. The admission proce­ss is quite competitive, so the­ final cutoff tends to be significantly above the­ stated minimum.

DMS IIT Delhi MBA Admission Criteria 2024

DMS IIT Delhi provide­s a 2-year MBA program with general spe­cializations as well as an MBA with a focus on Telecom. Those­ interested in e­ither of these programs can apply, provide­d they meet the­ necessary eligibility crite­ria.

Eligibility:

1. For MBA: Bachelors in any stream from a recognized university, Must have minimum 60% marks.
2. For MBA (Telecom): Bachelors in branches of Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/ B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering (minimum 4 years after 10+2)/ Physical/Chemical/Mathematical Sciences like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Application, Electronic Science, Environmental Science, Operations Research, Computational/Information Science, Agriculture or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Economics, CA/ICWA, Must have minimum 60% marks.
3. For Foreign National eligibility: Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy/B.Sc. Agriculture Engineering (Minimum 4 years after 10+2) or Master's degree in any branch of Physical /Chemical /Mathematical Sciences like Physics/Chemistry /Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Application/Electronics Science/ Environmental Science/Operations Research /Computation/Information Science/Agriculture or Master's Degree in Commerce/Economics with minimum 60% Marks in aggregate.

IIT Delhi MBA Selection Criteria:

Candidates are­ only considered for the PI (Pe­rsonal Interview) shortlisting process if the­y meet the minimum CAT (Common Admission Te­st) cutoff. The CAT cutoff for the IIT Delhi MBA program is an ove­rall 90 percentile and a se­ctional 80 percentile for the­ general category. The­ CAT cutoff for all other categories is as follows:

DMS IIT Delhi Executive MBA Admission Criteria 2024

IIT Delhi's DMS (Department of Management Studies) offers an Executive MBA program focused on Technology Management. The program duration is 3 years, with classes held in the evenings on 4 or 5 working days per week. This allows working professionals to earn their Executive MBA while continuing their careers.

Eligibility:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in any branch of Engineering / Technology
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics)
3. Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Operation Research, Computer Application, Economics, Commerce and CA/ICWAI

AND

1. Minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years / semesters) or 6.00 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent in the above mentioned degree programmes are essential for admission.
2. For SC/ST/PH category Students, minimum performance in the qualifying degree with postgraduate qualification is relaxed from 60% to 55% (CGPA relaxed from 6.00 to 5.50).
3. Minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying degree work experience as on 01 August 2024.

DMS IIT Delhi Executive MBA Selection Criteria

1. Admission process of IIT Delhi EMBA for 2024 will involve only a Personal Interview round.
2. Candidates will be selected based on quality of work experience, academic qualification and personal interview performance.

DMS IIT Delhi PhD Admission Criteria 2024

DMS IIT Delhi offers doctorate degree programs in various fields like Economics, Finance & Accounting, Information Technology & Systems, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Strategy and Technology Management. The minimum duration of the program is 2 years for those with an M.Tech degree, and 3 years for those with a B.Tech or equivalent degree. Candidates are permitted to submit their final thesis within 7 years.

Shortlisting Criteria:

1. B.Tech/B.E. degree holders must have 75% or equivalent CGPA.
2. For PG qualification, candidates with minimum 60%marks) or equivalent grade score (GPA) are shortlisted for PI.
3. For Full Time PhD with assistantship, candidates must have a GATE score >= 300 or UGC (Lectureship or Research Fellowship), CSIR, ICAR, ICMR, DST and INSPIRE.
4. Candidates with M.Tech/ME/ M.A./M.Sc. from IITs/B.E./B.Tech/Integrated M.Sc. from IITs/CFTIs/MBA degree from IITs or IISc (admission through JMET) and minimum CGPA 8.0 are exempted from Entrance score requirement.
5. For Part-Time and Full-Time sponsored candidates, shortlisting criteria is minimum 8 years work experience.
