IIT Kharagpur's Placements 2024 Phase 2 took place from the first week of January until the end of April 2024. According to media reports, the institute secured over 700 job offers, including pre-placement offers (PPOs), across various sectors such as software, analytics, finance, banking, consulting, and core engineering. More than 19 students received international job offers, with a total of 121 diverse profiles, and six students achieved annual CTCs exceeding INR 1 Crore.
The placement drive saw participation from over 61 companies, with top recruiters including Apple, Capital One, DE Shaw, Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, and Databricks. In 2023, the highest package offered at IIT Kharagpur was INR 2.6 Crore per annum.
