Founded in 2000, JIS College of Engineering is a Kolkata-based engineering college that is associated with Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata (MAKAUT). The college has both NAAC and UGC accreditation. JIS College of Engineering is ranked #12 out of the top 100 engineering colleges by the Times of India, and it comes in at number five for placements. In 2020, about 79% of students were placed on campus. Currently, admissions are open for degree programs including MBA, M.Tech, BBA, BCA, and B.Tech. Application Process for JIS College of Engineering

Candidates must visit MAKAUT website to download the application form. Fill in the required details and follow the below-mentioned details:

1. On application completion, candidates must take a print out and attach copies of the required documents.
2. Hard copy of the complete application form must be submitted at the university office.
3. After submission, the application fee of INR 800 (INR 400 for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH) must be paid.
4. The fee is to be paid through a DD in favour of the West Bengal University of Technology payable at Kolkata.
