How is the placement record of the institute?

On average 80 to 85% of students get recruited through on-campus recruitment drives. The institute considers the market demand and approaches those companies for employment. Some of the potential recruiters are TCS, CTS, ITC InfoTech, Amazon, IBM, Siemens, Infosys, Oracle, Wipro, Microsoft, HCL, Reliance Comm., Capgemini, Dell, Persistence Zensor, Axis Bank, UBI, ICICI, Byju's etc. For Core engineering – Pinnacle, Simplex, Kirloskar, L&T, DLF, Ultratech, ACC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero, Asahi Glass, Tata Motors, etc.

What types of jobs are available for Biomedical Engineering?

They get employed in companies that deal with the following:

Does the institute provide hostel facilities?

The institute has separate hostels for both boys and girls.

How can I check my result?

The students can check their result online only. The college conducts examination twice in a year. The odd semester examinations are conducted in the month of May and semester examinations are organized in the month of December. Both the semester examination results are declared separately on the college official website.

Do you provide any Special Classes for the Students?

Yes, the institute provides personality development and soft skills training to students so that they can perform well in campus placement interviews. The institute also offers a foreign language class which is held on Saturday.

Can I apply to MBA before declaration the result of the qualifying exams?

Yes. You can take provisional admission, before the declaration of the result.

Does the institute provide any Internship?

Yes, the institute provides Internship support both at the National and International level.

Is JEXPO Rank mandatory for taking admission in Polytechnic?

As per Govt. norms, JEXPO Rank is desirable for admission. However, students can take direct admission in Polytechnic on the basis of Marks.

After securing admission, can I change my Stream?

Yes, provision there depends on the availability of the Seats on and before University Registration.

How many seats are available for admissions at JIS College of Engineering?

The seats distribution is as follows:

1. B.Tech: 720 seats
2. BBA: 60 seats
3. BCA: 100 seats
4. M.Tech: 72 seats
5. MBA: 60 seats

The bifurcation of fee is as follows:

1. Hostel fees: INR 5500 per month payable half yearly + one time admission fee INR 5000
2. Total amount payable at the time of joining is INR 38000
