Famous for offering engineering programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, KCT offers B.E., B.Tech., M.E., and M.Tech. Kumaraguru College of Technology UG Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized institute.

Kumaraguru College of Technology UG Selection Criteria

1. The Government of Tamil Nadu makes admission to B.E/B.Tech courses of all the affiliated colleges through TNEA Counselling administered by Anna University, Chennai.
2. A merit list is prepared based on the class 12th board exam.
3. Candidates whose names are mentioned on the merit list have to appear for the TNEA counselling.
4. Such applicants need to first register on the official portal of TNEA.
5. After registration, they have to visit at any of the TNEA Facilitation Centers (TFCs) along with their documents for verification.
6. Upon successful verification, candidates have to fill the choice of course and college (KCT)
7. Based on the choices filled and score obtained in board exams, seat allotment will be done
8. Those who will be allotted a seat need to confirm the seat and report at the allotted college in order to complete the further admission process.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks (55% for Reserved categories) from a recognized university.

NOTE - In case of MCA, candidates must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduate level.

Kumaraguru College of Technology PG Selection Criteria

1. For admission into PG courses, candidates need to appear in the TANCET exam conducted by Anna University.
2. Post result declaration, the university will publish a merit list based on the rank in the TANCET exam.
3. Those who will have their names in this list are called to attend the TANCET Counselling.
4. Candidates who have a MAT score of 500 or above are also considered for MBA admission. Such candidates have to directly appear for the counselling round.
5. To take part in the counselling rounds, applicants have to register online, fill the choice of course & college (KCT). They also have to get their documents verified.
6. After verification, the concerned authority will allot seats based on the rank obtained and choices filled by the student.
7. Students who are satisfied with the allotment need to report at the allotted college to complete further admission formalities.
