1. IMIS Bhubaneshwar was awarded the ‘Best B-school Innovative Education Award’ in February 2016. The awards were organized by DNA & ‘Stars of Industry’ Group.

2. Mr. HK Patnaik, founder of IMIS Bhubaneshwar was awarded the 'Outstanding Education Entrepreneur’' award amongst 50 other selected educational entrepreneurs by the World Education Congress.

3. The institute received the Devang Mehta & BSA ‘Best B-school Award’ in the finance curriculum for three years - 2011, 2012, and 2013. 

4. The institute was awarded the Golden Europe award in 2012 for quality and prestige.

5. IMIS Bhubaneshwar was ranked A5 by Indian Management in June 2015 and ranked 40th in Learning Experience by Business Today in October 2014.

IMIS Bhubaneshwar offers the Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) as their flagship program. The PGDM programme has a total of 114 credits covered in six trimesters. After three trimesters, students opt for a summer training programme in a company for 8 weeks. The programme consists of core courses and electives.

Eligibility Criteria

Selection Procedure 

The selection of the candidates is based on their test scores - CAT/XAT/MAT/C-MAT etc; followed by a group discussion and personal interview round held at Bhubaneshwar, Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Guwahati, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Delhi, Bengaluru and other parts of the country. The dates for the interviews are announced at a later stage.

Facilities 

IMIS Bhubaneshwar has several facilities for students including a library, computer lab, classrooms, auditorium, and gym. It also has an entrepreneurship cell.
