NSHM Knowledge Campus is a private educational institute established in 1996 in Kolkata, West Bengal.
NSHM Kolkata is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT). The institute also has affiliations with WBUHS, PCI, INC and WBNC for Nursing, Pharmacy, and GNM Diploma courses.
NSHM Kolkata has 65+ professional degree programs. It offers multidisciplinary UG & PG programs under Business School, Hotel & Tourism Management, Health Sciences, Media, Design, Computing & Analytics, Engineering & Technology, and Nursing.
NSHM Kolkata accepts merit in the National and State Level Examinations like WBJELET, WBJEE, JEXPO, MAT, CAT, XAT, WBJE MAT, GPAT, etc.
NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata has a dedicated Training and Placement cell that conducts various placement activities. The institute has a 98.9% placement rate. They provide different training programs to the students to improve their skills. NSHM Kolkata placement cell makes sure that the students are stepping into the corporate world, well-trained. The institute has not released the Placement Report 2023. Till now, more than 2200 students have been placed by 300+ recruiters.
The Asha Jyoti Scholarship is the merit-cum-means based scholarship offered by NSHM based on past academic performance. The scholarship is available for the UG and PG courses. Students securing 70% marks in Class XII and 60% in Graduation can apply for the NSHM Kolkata scholarship.
The faculty at NSHM Kolkata are highly qualified and focus on the development of the students. The institute has over 360 faculty members with 75 visiting faculty. Around 35 faculty members of the institution are PhD holders and associated with different project works. There are more than 900 publications by the faculties.
The NSHM Kolkata hostel is located near the main campus. The hostel offers all the necessary facilities like, on-campus laundry, dining hall, vending machine, RO water facility, indoor/ gym, etc. It has AC and non-AC rooms which have a separate study table, chair, and wardrobe for every student. It charges INR 5,000 as the monthly hostel fees.
In the placement drive of 2023, the highest package stood at INR 11.25 LPA and average package stood at INR 5.73 LPA.
In the placement drive of 2022, the highest package for the Design School stood at INR 13 LPA
In the placement drive of 2022 for the Institute of Hotel and Tourism Management the highest package stood at INR 9.4 LPA.
Some of the top recruiters including Amazon, SAP, HCL Technologies participated in the placement drive.
