Located in the Tumkur region of Karnataka state lies the esteemed Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT), a prominent engineering institution. In 1963, the Sree Siddaganga Education Society founded the college. Engineering and science programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate levels were available at Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT). With a total enrolment of 950 students for its 12 UG programs and 432 students for its 16 PG programs, the institute provides both types of degrees.

Application Process for Siddaganga Institute of Technology 2024

For B.E. Programs:

1. Candidates can apply through Karnataka CET by visiting the KCET website.
2. The information brochure can be downloaded from the KCET website.
3. Candidates are then required to fill and submit the online Application form online after filling all the requisite details as given in the information brochure.  
4. Payment of application fee can be made online through e-Challan.
5. Scanned copies of passport size photographs, candidate’s signature, candidate’s left hand thumb impression and parent’s signature are required to be uploaded.
6. Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence.some text
   1. At least three printouts of the finally submitted online application.
   2. Proof of fee paid
   3. 2-3 copies of identical photographs that were scanned and uploaded on the online application.
7. All successful applicants will be issued admit cards for the purpose of CET. Candidates must preserve the Admit Card till the admission in college.
8. Outside Karnataka candidates can apply through COMEDK.

For Ph.D. Programs

1. Candidates applying for Ph.D. programs can do so by collecting a copy of the application form from the institute’s admission cell.
2. Application fees can be paid by cash or demand draft. Application form along with relevant documents must reach the institute’s admission office on or before the last date.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview based on which admission is granted.

Siddaganga Institute of Technology B.E. Admission 2024

Up to twelve different engineering disciplines are offered at the undergraduate level at Siddaganga Institute of Technology. The primary requirements for enrolment in these programs are passing the 10+2 scientific program with English as a subject and earning at least 45% of the possible points in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Electronics, and Computer.

Siddaganga Institute of Technology M.Tech, MBA, MCA Admission 2024

SIT provides 13 M.Tech, MBA, and MCA programs. Through PGCET, candidates can apply for admission to postgraduate programs in SIT. The prerequisite for enrolment in these programs is a minimum of 50% in the relevant or related discipline upon graduation. Candidates for M.Tech programs may also apply if they have a valid GATE score in the pertinent discipline.The PGCET application process entails completing the online application form on the KEA website and paying the application costs online. Additionally, candidates must sign up for online counselling and show up on the scheduled occasions. The application procedure is the same for every postgraduate program that SIT offers.

Siddaganga Institute of Technology Ph.D. Admission 2024

The institute grants admission to qualified applicants to Ph.D. programs in management, biotechnology, and up to 14 engineering specialities. The prerequisite for admission to these programs is a master's degree in an allied or relevant field with at least 50% of the required points. Applicants who enrol for SIT's Ph.D. program are chosen through an institute-level admission exam and in-person interviews.
