Established in 1921 with a vision to democratize education, Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (TMV) has been nationally recognized for its commitment to educational empowerment and fostering national sentiment, particularly during the pre-independence era. TMV offers a diverse range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs through its eight departments: Arts & Fine Arts, Moral & Social Science, Ayurveda, Modern Science & Professional Skills, Health Science, Management Studies, Law Studies, and Social Work Studies. Additionally, the university provides various UG and PG courses through its Directorate of Distance Education. Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth (TMV) offers a diverse array of undergraduate courses spanning multiple disciplines. At the UG level, TMV provides 8 B.A courses including Sanskrit Visharad, Economics, History, Geography, Sociology, Political Science, Yoga, and Journalism & Mass Communication, each with specific eligibility criteria ranging from higher secondary exams to relevant discipline qualifications. Additionally, TMV offers 6 BBA courses in Digital Art Animation, Hospitality & Tourism, Finance, Marketing, HR, and IT, requiring a minimum of 40% marks in 12th grade for admission.
