About Uttar Pradesh Scholarship
This scholarship is intended for students enrolled in the vast education system of the northern state, which includes over 60 universities and over 2 lakh schools. The Uttar Pradesh (UP) Scholarships offer several pre-matric and post-matric programs for students in the SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and General categories. They are designed to help students at all educational levels in the state.
The state of Uttar Pradesh launched the UP Scholarship program to raise literacy rates and provide a skilled labor force to support socio-economic growth. Applications for the UP government's pre-matriculating scholarship for Classes 09 and 10 opened on September 15, 2023.
Through this grant, candidates from the General category who fall under the SC/ST/OBC/Minority and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) are provided with financial assistance. Students enrolled in pre-matric (Classes 9 and 10) and post-matric (Classes 11, 12, undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph.D., diploma, or any certificate degree) are eligible to apply for the academic year 2023–2024.
2024 UP Scholarship
The UP Scholarship Scheme is a comprehensive state-government initiative designed to provide pre- and post-matriculated students with financial assistance to complete their studies. Students attending colleges and universities in the state (and sometimes outside of it) may apply for the grant via the SAKSHAM online portal. Uttar Pradesh has established multiple incentive categories to guarantee that students from diverse backgrounds can benefit from the program. The details of the schemes are as follows.
- UP Pre-Matric Scheme: Students in grades 9 and 10 can enroll in this program.
- For students enrolled in Classes 11 and 12, there is a Post-Matric Inter Class 11–12.
- UP Post-Matric Other Than Inter: Graduate, post-graduate, doctoral, and higher education candidates.

Documents Needed for the 2024 UP Scholarship

UP Scholarship Login 2023—2024 – A Comprehensive Guide to Applying
To expedite the application process, the Uttar Pradesh government launched its online scholarship and fee refund system. All eligible students may use our online application system only to apply for relevant scholarships during the specified application period. This is a quick overview of the steps students must take to apply for any scholarships the UP government offers.
Registration of New Student
- To register new students, go to the Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Online System's official website, scholarship.up.gov.in, which the UP government runs.
- Choose "New Registration" after clicking the "Student" column.
- Decide which scholarship the candidates wish to apply for.
- Complete all required fields indicated by an asterisk (*).
- click the "Submit" button to register.
- Print the registration slip and save it for later use.
UP Scholarship Login
- After registering, go to the "Student" area and choose the option labeled "Fresh Login" for new applications or "Renewal Login" for applications that need to be renewed, depending on the scholarship the applicants are vying for.
- Log in Using the password, date of birth, and registration number.
- The page with crucial instructions for completing the form will load.
- Carefully read all instructions, check the box at the bottom of the page, then press "Proceed."
Complete the scholarship application
- The "Proceed" button will cause the user dashboard to open.
- Tick the "Fill out the application form" box.
- Fill out the scholarship application form with more details.
- Click the "Submit" button.
Upload any necessary supporting files.
- Students must attach their photos and supporting documents after completing the application form.
Final online submission
To avoid any problems later, it is advised that applicants thoroughly examine all supplied information before submitting the application form in its final form.. Furthermore, after the application form is submitted, the applicant will not be able to change the data they entered.
Submitting the form at the relevant educational Institute

UP Scholarship Status: Check the Status of Online Application
- The status of the student's online application will show up on the screen. Through the UP scholarship portal, students can conveniently track the status of their applications at any time. To see the real-time status, students must also input their password, date of birth (DOB), and registration number. UP Scholarship Status: Use of PFMS To Check The Status Of My Scholarship Disbursement
Students can use the Public Finance Management System (PFMS) site to monitor the progress of their scholarship fund disbursement. The Government of India manages this webpage to facilitate the hassle-free administration of scholarship payout.
Students can use the following procedures to determine how the scholarship money is being disbursed.
- Go to pfms.nic.in to access the PFMS portal's official home page.
- Select the tab labeled "Know your payments."
- Students must enter the necessary information (account number, bank name, and word verification).
- When all the data has been entered, click "Search."
- The page will now display the students' scholarship status.
- Select "Download" to save a PDF version of the status report.
Note: The "Incorrect Details Filled" window will show up if the student enters the wrong information.
Apply for the 2023–24 UP Scholarship Renewal
Students who wish to renew their scholarship must follow the same procedures as for a new one. The steps that need to be followed are listed below.
- Navigate to the homepage and select the link for registration.
- Select the appropriate renewal link and fill out the form.
- Visit the UP scholarship renewal page and log in.
- Complete the application form, providing information about your past schooling and the scholarship you received the previous year.
- Next, print the completed form and upload a passport-size photo.
- Now, submit the application for consideration for further processing at the relevant school or college.
UP Scholarship Correction
When completing the UP scholarship application, individuals should provide accurate information. On the site, a particular option allows you to amend the application forms after submitting them.
For a restricted period of time, the government will offer the UP scholarship correcting services. They must make the required adjustments and submit the revised application form by the UP scholarship correction deadline as soon as the portal is available for rectification.
