BHMS Course Admission Process 2026

Here is the step-by-step process for securing admission to a BHMS course in the 2026-27 cycle: 

1. Check Eligibility

Candidates must have completed their 10+2 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects. The minimum age is 17 years as of 31 December of the admission year.

2. Appear for NEET UG

Prepare and appear for NEET UG 2026, the mandatory entrance exam for all BHMS admissions in India since 2017. NEET UG 2026 is scheduled by NTA for 3 May 2026 (tentative per NTA Calendar 2026).

3. Await your NEET Results

NTA declares results within a few weeks of the exam. Check your scorecard at neet.nta.nic.in.

4. Appear for AYUSH Counselling
