What is the GUJCET Exam?

What's new in the GUJCET Exam?

Below are the essential changes that have been introduced in the GUJCET exam pattern:

• Along with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology, marks obtained in other subjects of Class 12 will also be considered while preparing the merit list for admission.
• In government colleges, 5% of the seats will now be reserved for students applying through JEE Main 2026 scores. The remaining 95% of the seats will still be filled based on GUJCET 2026 scores.

Before filling out the application form, students must meet the eligibility criteria below. If a candidate does not meet the required conditions, their application will not be accepted.

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen with a Gujarat state domicile (resident of Gujarat).
• Students should have passed Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognised board.
• For Pharmacy courses – Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12.
• For Engineering courses – Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12.
• Candidates should have scored at least 45% marks in their Class 12 exams (40% marks for students belonging to reserved categories).

GUJCET 2025 Exam: Answer Key

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will release the GUJCET 2025 answer key in April 2025.
