What is the GUJCET Exam?

What's new in the GUJCET Exam?

Below are the essential changes that continue to apply in the GUJCET 2026 admission cycle:

• Along with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology, marks obtained in other subjects of Class 12 will also be considered while preparing the merit list for admission.
• In government colleges, 5% of the seats are reserved for students applying through JEE Main 2026 scores. The remaining 95% of the seats are filled based on GUJCET 2026 scores.

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen with a Gujarat state domicile (resident of Gujarat).
• Students should have passed Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognised board.
• For Pharmacy courses – Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in Class 12.

The GUJCET 2026 counselling is being organised by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) via acpc.gujarat.gov.in. The ACPC registration window for GUJCET 2026 admissions opens in late May 2026, with the provisional merit list expected around mid-June 2026 (60% Class 12 PCM weightage + 40% GUJCET 2026 score) and choice filling, seat allotment and reporting through June – July 2026. Candidates qualified in the GUJCET 2026 exam can participate in the counselling process for BTech and other professional courses.

The registration process for GUJCET 2026 is now closed.
