JIPMER MBBS Admission 2024

One of the most well-liked degrees at JIPMER is MBBS. On its two campuses, in Karaikal and Puducherry, the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) offers the MBBS programme. Five years and six months is the length of the MBBS program at JIPMER, which includes a mandatory one-year rotational internship. For MBBS, JIPMER provides a total of 243 seats. JIPMER MBBS Eligibility Criteria

1. The candidate should be an Indian National or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
2. The candidate should be of 17 Years as of December 31 of the admission year.
3. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
4. They must have obtained at least 50% Marks in aggregate in PCB (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwBD).

JIPMER MBBS Selection Criteria

1. Selection of the candidates for MBBS at JIPMER is solely based on the score in NEET UG.
2. Candidates with a valid score in NEET UG have to apply for MCC NEET UG Counselling.
3. Seat Allocation for admission to MBBS at JIPMER is through MCC NEET Counselling only.
4. Candidates who meet the set cutoff score/ rank for JIPMER MBBS will be offered admission.
