People’s College of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (PCMS), part of People’s University in Bhopal, began as a teaching hospital in 2002 and started admitting students in 2005. Located in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, the college offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical programs. Admission to the MBBS program, which includes five and a half years of study (four and a half years plus one year of internship), is now conducted through NEET. For postgraduate studies, PCMS offers MD/MS programs, as well as M.Sc. degrees in Medical Microbiology and Medical Biochemistry, each lasting three years.
To apply for M.Sc. Medical Microbiology and Biochemistry at People’s College, candidates must pass a qualifying exam. Seats are forfeited if a candidate does not join by the specified date, and the next candidate on the waiting list will be offered the position. The Head of the Institution’s decision is final. Employed candidates must apply through their employer with an NOC. The age limit for male candidates is 30 years, while there is no age limit for female candidates.
