 Yes, every course conducted on campus is accredited by NBA and approved by AICTE. SDMIMD is affiliated to Mysore University. On successful completion of the course, students will be provided a certificate from the university which is valid throughout India for job or higher studies.

 Yes, SDMIMD does provide for hostel accommodation within campus for outstation students and staff. There is availability of all basic facilities at the hostel including mess, dining room, single rooms, broadband connectivity, housekeeping etc.
